From kickin it with his namesake “Bill Gates”, to working with the likes of Bassnectar, Eskmo, Amon Tobin, DJ Vadim, Sub Swara, Mochipet, & a ton of other BASSHEAVY ballers, to travelin the globe teaching workshops & droppin dancefloor bangers—-the Phat Conductor aka “ILL GATES” has been traveling the globe meltin faces & droppin BASS Heavy bombs for quite some time now.
Catching Mr. Gates at the tail end of a whirlwind global tour, we’re extremely lucky to have him make a brief stop on the island of Taiwan to blast us with some BASSHEAVY dancefloor crushers, and also to lead a few workshops to give us some insight into how it is that this new wave of BASSHEAVY players do what they do. To testify to the legitimacy of his skills as an educator/producer it can proudly be stated that Mr. Gates is recognized by Ableton and others as an established educator in the field of electronic music production. Basically what we mean to say is that in addition to his skills as a dancefloor crusher, he’s also a super solid producer who’s sure to bring us a slammin workshops packin heavy heat to impart to all those who are join!
